Full-time: Burnley 2-1 Leicester City

Burnley trailed 1-0 at half-time to Barnes' stunning goal but goals from Wood and Westwood seal a massive win for Sean Dyche's side in their fight to avoid the drop.

The result is harsh on Leicester, who had several good chances to win the game, notably Vardy's penalty which was saved by Pope.

90 - Three minutes of injury-time to be played here and Leicester are pushing for an equaliser. Burnley look solid at the back, though, and time is running out.

Crunch time

84 - Leicester have paid the price for squandering several good second half chances. Vardy has been repelled by Pope on three occasions, once from the spot, and the visitors now have just six minutes of normal time remaining to salvage a result.

GOAL! Burnley 2-1 Leicester City

80 - Charlie Taylor swings a cross in from the left, Evans fails to clear properly and Westwood runs onto the loose ball and fires home brilliantly from a central position 12 yards out.

78 - Vardy goes close to redeeming his penalty miss. Mendy plays a brilliant ball behind Tarkowski and Vardy is on to it in a He fires at goal with his left foot but Pope stands tall and the ball ricochets of his chest. Good save.

68 - Vardy steps up and fires it to the right of Pope but it's a good height for the keeper and he tips wide of goal. Poor effort from Vardy and he's got his head in his hands.

67 - Barnes bursts into the box and Mee doesn't have the pace to catch him. He gets in a tangle with Barnes who goes to ground and the referee points straight to the spot. Correct decision.

57 - Burnley are back on level Wood prods in from close range after Ben Mee's header from a corner-kick was brilliantly saved by Schmeichel.

Nearly 2-0

51 - Maddison will be disappointed with that effort. He attempts a curling effort from the edge of the box that flies wide of goal. Had he gone for the bottom corner rather than the Hollywood finish in the top right hand corner it could've been 2-0.

48 - Burnley go straight up the other end and go close to an equaliser. Wood rises high above Fuchs to meet a cross but he heads over the bar.

47 - Leicester so close to making it 2-0. Barnes slips a lovely pass into the feet of Vardy inside the area and he curls a first time effort at goal that Pope tips brilliantly wide. That looked destined for the bottom left hand corner.

Second half under way

46 - We're back underway at . Sean Dyche will want his side to show more attacking threat in the final third and Rodgers will hope to see Vardy more involved in the second half.

'You're going down with the Villa'

‘You’re going down with the Villa’ is the song from the away end at the half-time break...
Half-time: Burnley 0-1 Leicester City

Half-time: Barnes' brilliant solo goal separates the sides at half-time. It's been a largely evenly matched affair but Leicester have looked the more dangerous in the final third.

Maddison's deliveries from set-pieces have caused Burnley problems and Barnes highlighted the visitors' greater quality in attack with a driving run and finish shortly before the break.

46 - Leicester nearly double their lead. Maddison whips in a brilliant free-kick from the right wing and Ayoze heads just over at the near post.

Dyche not happy...

37 - Very un-Burnley, Dyche believes Cork was fouled by Praet at the start of the move, but why was Barnes allowed to carry the ball so far without a challenge?

GOAL! Burnley 0-1 Leicester (Barnes)

34 - Brilliant goal from Harvey Barnes. Dennis Praet wins the ball on the halfway line with a crunching tackle. Barnes picks up the loose ball and drives at the Burnley defence. Vardy's run takes a defender away from his path and Barnes continues his run into the box before firing past Pope.

Maddison roaming

Leicester sticky patch

Leicester can solidify third place and move nine points clear of Chelsea in the Premier League table if they win this afternoon but they haven't had it all their own way of late.

Brendan Rodgers' side have lost three of their last five games (they lost just two in 17 before Christmas) and will hope to remedy their current form at Turf Moor.

Rodgers on form

"We weren't at our best [against Southampton] and we didn't have the energy and intensity that we would have liked.

"We work twice as hard and that's what we've done after every setback. We still have a lot to improve on."

Dyche on Leicester

Sean Dyche has offered his pre-match thoughts...
"They [Leicester] are a good side. I like the manager and what he is trying to achieve there, they have invested heavily in the players but they are a younger group who are developing all the time with enough experience in key players in there as well."
