Goulash
cooking off the grid (open fire) some basic beef stew.
same procedure as in 2014 and 2012, there will be chopping onions, dicing meat and cooking something resembling goulash.
there are some recommendations for best result (things to do and things to avoid) that might be discussed while cooking.
this year I'd like to fool around with infrared thermometer and take some notes on energy density of wood, estimate efficiency of burning wood for cooking and drawing list of arguments for and against switching to gas/electricity as main source of heat for cooking for future iterations.
